Taylor Swift will perform at the Academy Museum Gala. The museum announced the news on October 8. The Pop superstar will close the evening on October 17 in Los Angeles.
Notably, her last performance came at the GRAMMY Museum in August. She sang a mashup of ‘All Too Well’, ‘I Knew It, I Knew You’ and ‘August’. Now, fans hope that ‘I Knew It, I Knew You’ returns. The track comes from Toy Story 5 and could earn her a first Oscar nomination!
In addition, the gala honours John Carpenter, Colman Domingo and Charlize Theron. Steven Spielberg and Kate Capshaw co-chair the night. Consequently, Hollywood’s awards hopefuls will pack the room.
Proceeds fund the museum’s exhibitions, screenings and education programmes.
