It’s a new moshpit-ready anthem.
Returning after two years to music, Florida-bred legend known for shifting the culture and moving to the beat of his own drum, Ski Mask the Slump God, has released a new record, ‘Shibuya’, named after the thriving city—dubbed the epicentre of modern Japanese culture. As it starts, we see a vast crowd of people in the midst of a fire, counting down with the artist onstage. Over the catchy production provided by Thank You Fizzle, Max Lord, and Al B Smoov, the star raps about removing his opps from the earth for a reasonable price.
Although the track is gory and carries a dark narrative, it is what life is like for some of us—dangerous and living until we can’t anymore. It is the first single from his forthcoming sophomore album, ’11th Dimension’. Check out the gassed music video with fast cars, expensive jewelry, body tattoos, fireworks, and smoking for the immediate party banger below. It’s available now on Victor Victor Worldwide and Republic Records.
If you didn’t know, Ski Mask cascaded across the Rolling Loud California stage sponsored by Ethika on Sunday.
