Sean Paul and Dua Lipa’s ‘No Lie’ crosses one billion streams on Spotify

This month (October 6), ‘No Lie’, Sean Paul’s song featuring a relatively unknown Dua Lipa at the time, crossed one billion streams on Spotify, adding to Sean Paul’s billion club achievements. The official music video for the 2018 banger, directed by Tim Nackashi, earned one billion views on YouTube in April 2022. It is the Jamaican Dancehall star’s longest-running single on the UK Singles Chart. It has spent thirty weeks on the chart, peaking at #11.

In a statement to Dancehall Mag, the living legend shared the following: “I’ve always tried to emulate the greats in the genre. We all learn from our elders. So all I can say is thank you to them for showing me the way. And thanks to the fans, it is really humbling.”
