Homegrown talent finally gets its own spotlight, whilst Everything RNB joins forces to make it happen.
British R&B finally has a stage of its own. Official Charts has announced the launch of the Official R&B UK Chart, a weekly countdown built purely for homegrown talent. The initiative arrives through a partnership with Everything RNB, a platform that has championed the genre since 2017.

This chart lands at a pivotal moment. Streaming numbers keep climbing, whilst a fresh wave of artists reshapes the sound entirely. Contemporary R&B, Neo-Soul, Alternative R&B and Soul-infused Rap will all find their place here, ranked by combined UK sales and streams.
Eligible tracks must have dropped within the past twelve months, keeping the focus firmly on new releases. Industry voices, including Everything RNB founder DJ Ace, called the launch a landmark moment for representation.
The first chart drops Monday, September 14 on officialcharts.com.
