In September, Novo, a new artist from Ghana, released an exciting new record called ‘Celebration’. From using his local dialect to Jamaican patois in the lyrics, it is an easy-listening experience one can enjoy without knowing the translation of everything he utters. As described during our conversation on Instagram Live, the Ghanaian artist said it was a blend of Afrobeats and Amapiano. After listening to it a few times, I can hear what he means. If you’re in a celebratory mood, then make this one your new party anthem. Stream the smooth track below.
