Stream Ghanaian artist Kofi Jamar’s six-track EP: Appetite for Destruction

Today, Ghana’s multi-genre artist Kofi Jamar, mostly known for the incredible work he’s released during the height of the pandemic, shared a new body of music with the world. The project is called ‘Appetite for Destruction’, and it doesn’t have the Asakaa sound a lot of us fell in love with, but it is worth the playtime if you’re into more modern traditional styles of African music. When researching Jamar in the past, he made music that wasn’t Drill/Asakaa, so it seems he is going back to his roots or the genesis of his sound. Check out the short project featuring Nigerian singer-songwriter Teni and his fellow Ghanaian artists below.
