‘West’ will not be removed from Kim Kardashian’s name

Despite Kanye’s quest to officially change his name, Kim Kardashian West will preserve her surname. According to TMZ, Kim has no plans to follow Kanye’s path since she believes it is important for her and her kids to keep their last names.

The Hip-Hop mogul recently filed documents to legally change his name from Kanye Omari West to just ‘Ye’, and is asking a Los Angeles court to make it official by signing off on the petition.

Despite their divorce, the separated couple are committed to their children. At Atlanta’s Mercedes-Benz Stadium, Kim attended Kanye’s ‘Donda’ listening parties. They were also recently seen having lunch in Malibu together.
