J Balvin’s ‘JOSE’ makes huge global debut, #1 on Billboard US Latin charts

J Balvin’s highly-praised sixth studio album ‘JOSE’ is making a huge global impact. ‘JOSE’ debuted at #1 on the Billboard Latin Albums chart, #1 on Billboard Latin Rhythm Albums chart and #12 on the US Billboard 200 chart. Additionally, ‘JOSE’ is #1 on Spotify in 9 countries, #6 globally and in the Top 10 in the United States, Italy and Switzerland, Top 15 in Canada, Top 20 in Germany and Netherlands and Top 40 in Austria, Belgium and Romania. On Apple Music, Jose is #1 in 16 countries, #6 globally, in the Top 10 in USA, Argentina, Andorra and Portugal and Top 15 in Italy and Canada. These most recent accolades follow Jose breaking the single-day Spotify streaming record for a Latin album in 2021 and a #1 debut on Apple Music in more than seventeen countries last week.

Also, J Balvin recently shared his NPR Tiny Desk concert which was shot on a barge in the East River in NYC and attended the 2021 Met Gala dawning Moschino. He also recently held J Balvin is set to co-headline Governors Ball this weekend and embarks on a North American tour in 2022. ‘JOSE’ arrived on the heels of an eventful Summer for the artist, following the release of chart-dominating singles ‘Qué Más Pues?’ featuring Argentinian singer María Becerra, ‘Que Locura’, and ‘In Da Getto’ featuring Skrillex. The Skrillex-assisted track reached the top spot on the Latin Airplay charts after a steady build up throughout the Summer and outstanding reception at Balvin’s first live performances back at Baja Beach Festival, marking the artist’s 31st #1 record. The LP also features Jhay Cortez, Dua Lipa, Bad Bunny, Khalid, Tokischa, Zion & Lennox, Tainy and others.
