Hear ‘God Did’ star Fridayy and Asake’s remix for ‘Blessings’

Four days ago, Philadelphia-bred singer-songwriter and producer Fridayy released the official remix video for ‘Blessings’. The artist of Haitian descent teamed up with Nigeria’s hottest artist Asake. Fridayy opens the record with lyrics that thank God he isn’t where he used to be, his mother crying because the rent was due and she didn’t have the money and feeling like the devil had a hold on him. For that reason, whenever he goes out, he will ball out because life hasn’t been easy for him.

Next, in more than 50% of his verse, the celebrated ‘Joha’ singer pours out his heart about how God has blessed him in Yoruba and English. Watch the spiritual video for the young stars below now.
