This week, Bob Marley and the Wailers released an official statement announcing the posthumous album starring the late music icon and his band. Tagged as a body of work celebrating the vibrant fusion of Reggae and Afrobeats, it reimagines the Jamaican superstar’s greatest hits adding West African vocalists to the fold “to bridge the gap between the past and the present”. The African stars listed on the ten-track LP are Sarkodie, Tiwa Savage, Teni, and Oxlade. The entire album will be out on Sunday, July 9. In the meantime, the three tracks are below.
