New NOLA-based artist 3D Na’Tee showcases her songwriting skills in new song about her late father in “Dear Father.” It is an emotional song about her short relationship with her late father revealing that she’s taken dangerous amounts of prescription drugs and drank excessive amounts of alcohol [we’re guessing] to numb her unthinkable pain but she doesn’t stop there. Within these lyrics she mentions her grandmother’s health “that diabetes keep fucking with her grandma,” her mother who abused crack when she (the artist) was a teenager, how she tends to treat men who are interested in her “claiming I’m a diva take a nigga heart and play with it,” questions her religious faith and her the problems she faces as a woman trying to attain success in the entertainment business without being marketed as the next Lil’ Kim, Foxy Brown or Nicki Minaj.
