Future shares creative interpretation of ideal “woman” in ‘Build a Bitch’: Watch
To me, Future’s best work comes when he partners with a creative director to bring his songwriting to life!

Yesterday, Future released the Cole Bennett-directed video for ‘Build a Bitch’. On the popular track produced by Alex Ritter and Dre Moon, the ‘March Madness’ superstar describes someone with a soul. That’s not what we have here. However, the creation in the music video has no flesh or human body. Instead (as explained through his label’s press release), the visual follows Future as he uses animatronics to construct his ideal woman. The robot was assembled from salvaged pieces of the Rock-afire Explosion, the cult-favourite animatronic band of the 1980s!
Regarding the song, he describes the perfect woman: she only needs him when she’s ready for sexual pleasure. She has high self-esteem, a lot of potential, and a high libido (assuming it matches his). Furthermore, his ideal woman would understand him wholly and would want to raise a family.
I’ll admit it. The “bitch” that Future built in that laboratory wasn’t half as beautiful as the human women he’s been linked to over the years. Is it okay to assume this is what the woman has to look like if she’s meant to do exactly what he needs? Who knows? We sincerely hope not. Its afro is fluffy at least.

‘Build a Bitch’ appears on ‘The Real Me’, Future’s twelfth #1 album. The release also made history on Billboard’s Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart, becoming Future’s 17th #1 title and tying him with Drake and The Temptations for the most chart-toppers by any artist since the ranking launched in 1965.
Momentum continued last month as the single ‘California Girls’ climbed to #1 at US Urban Radio. Next month, Future will hit the Camp Flog Gnaw stage for one of the most anticipated sets of the weekend!
