This week, legendary American rapper Remy Ma shared the official music video for her highly anticipated song ‘Why I Get Married?’ featuring vocals from Keke Wyatt, who was just arrested for terroristic threats, simple assault and a misdemeanour cruelty-to-children charge.
Plainly, the frequent Fat Joe collaborator seems to regret marrying fellow New York rapper, Papoose. Although the superstar eats alone at a larger-than-life dining table in the video, there’s no remorse displayed.
Throughout the Ernest Dukes-produced track, Remy Ma speaks to his character, saying things like “switching up quick” after presenting perfection. In the second verse, she mentions her ex wanting half of her earnings. According to the lyrics, he wants back things he gifted her, like vehicles, jewels, and bags.
