Sublime announce first album in 30 years ‘Until the Sun Explodes’
Legendary Ska-Punk band returns with a new era led by Jakob Nowell.

Nearly three decades after their last studio release, Sublime have officially announced their long-awaited fourth album, ‘Until the Sun Explodes’. Set to arrive on June 12, 2026, the project marks the band’s first full-length effort since their iconic 1996 self-titled record.
The new album reunites original members Eric Wilson and Bud Gaugh, whilst introducing Jakob Nowell—son of late frontman Bradley Nowell—as the band’s lead vocalist and guitarist.
Alongside the announcement, Sublime released the title track and accompanying visual, signalling a fresh yet nostalgic chapter. Jakob described the album as an “epilogue”, honouring his father’s legacy rather than replacing it.
Blending their signature Ska, Punk, and Reggae influences with modern touches, ‘Until the Sun Explodes’ positions Sublime for a powerful return—bridging generations while staying rooted in the sound that made them legends.
