A week ago, South Africa’s sultry R&B artist lordkez showered us with the official music video for her latest single, ‘You, Me & The 90’s’. Taking it to the streets of eGoli, or the “City of Gold”, to sing about her desire to communicate or articulate with her adoring partner, lordkez gets the princess treatment from a squad of men in black. Watch the video for the song produced by Jordan Klem below, which showcases the iconic towers located in Soweto, Johannesburg (also seen in Costa Titch’s explosive cultural visual for ‘Big Flexa’), the apparent independently run taxi system in the country referred to as the minibus taxi system, and a cameo made by Zimbabwean-South African rapper artist, Nadia Nakai.
