XG, South Korea-based Japanese popstars, to release ‘Million Pieces’ in May
According to the release, the record will come out on the same day as the group’s world tour finale at the grand Tokyo Dome. Hip-Hop/R&B-inspired girl group XG held their Osaka concert on March 15/16 as part of their world tour, ‘XG 1st World Tour ‘The first Howl’, at Osaka-Jo Hall.
During the March 15 show, Maya and Cocona performed ‘Show You Can’, a track featured on the Korean compilation album ‘Street Woman Fighter 2 (SWF2) Crew Songs’ (released in 2023). Osaka fans were thrilled as the song was performed for the first time on the world tour.
The release of ‘Million Pieces’ will come in both CD box and digital formats. The creation reflects XG’s global journey, capturing precious moments with their fans throughout their world tour. Inspired by the love experienced in the cities they visited, crossing cultures and borders, the song describes a special journey shared between XG and their fans, transcending distance and nationality. With the Tokyo Dome show approaching, the excitement grows for the thrilling performances and the message of love XG will share.
