Making her official musical debut with ‘Pick A Side’, under the legendary Cash Money Records, the rapper TBoss, formerly Bigg Troye, has released the official music video for ‘Pick A Side’. The bouncy production, featuring the label’s signature late nineties style, opens with a line about people wishing they had the tea on her. Without wasting time, the seemingly non-binary or non-comforming rapper drops hints about her sexual appetite (“eat me good, the way I like to eat it”) and leaves little to our imaginations (“making my dick hard”) with the following queer-positive line—though she may not be bi.
Throughout TBoss’ lead single, with its punchy hook, she threatens to steal a woman’s husband, stating she’s the right pick because he likes young women who hustle. Overall, the lyrics coach its listeners to get off the fence and to be absolute in their decision-making.
