Drake goes #1 on the Billboard 200 chart for the 13th time with ‘For All the Dogs’
Drake sold 402,000 equivalent album units in the United States in the first week of his release thus making the new album his thirteenth studio album to top the Billboard 200 Chart.

‘For All the Dogs’ was released at 6 AM EST on Friday, October 6 — slightly off-cycle, as most new albums are released at 12 AM every Friday. The album was first teased in June, and then on September 6, he announced that the album was due to be released on September 22. By September 15, he had pushed that release date back to October 6.
With a thirteenth number one album on the Billboard 200, Drake breaks out of a tie with Taylor Swift to have the third-most #1s on the chart. The Beatles continue to hold the record with nineteen #1 albums, followed by JAY Z (14), Drake (13), and Taylor Swift (12).
