Watch Burna Boy stomp in the name of the ‘City Boys’
Today, Burna Boy released the official video for his TikTok viral smash hit ‘City Boys’ featuring a soundbite from London’s J Hus’ infamous statement about his looks as his intro. In it, he drives a yellow Lamborghini and occupies the passenger side to perform the lyrics in English and Nigerian Pidgin. Later in the video, the GRAMMY Award-winning Nigerian global superstar stands with a crew of gents and demonstrates the easily duplicated movement—hoping you may want to join the challenge. With a hashtag boasting over one billion views and counting, it was intelligent for the striking performing artist to incorporate it into his album. Most people see it as a response to the idea of a “city girl”, often described as a lady who tends to be promiscuous. Added to the main video shots are clips of the star in his younger days and of him dancing in a club, enjoying the single life.

According to videos on TikTok like this one, he created traffic as he performed his verses on the street, and his team rode in a matching Lamborghini and other cars behind him.
