Devonshire daughters

About two weeks ago, an odd pair reached out to us for a feature. AZTECH, consisting of Cassie (22) and her sister Shelley (25), are a self-proclaimed “multi genre producing duo” from South West England. Fairly new to the game, they have been producing music for two years [in a small set up] and perfecting their sounds, individually and as a unit.

[quote]We didn’t jump to release music until we felt we had the right sound,” said Cassie.[/quote]

We’re guessing that their latest track “Move” with Californian rapper Mr. Jet Black is an indication of what’s to come from the group’s yet to be titled debut EP, which is set to release early 2014. According to Cassie, it will be a free download available on their website. Last but not least, if you’re wondering where the moniker, AZTECH derives, it is a portmanteau of “aztec” and “tech” for technology.

[quote]The “tech” obviously stands for our production which is all tech-based but we liked the “Aztec” aspect as they have such creative and colorful art and one thing we want to put out into the world, with our music, is total creative freedom.[/quote]
