Jane Remover exits M3F Fest 2027 lineup amid Temper City controversy
Jane Remover has officially exited M3F Festival’s 2027 lineup. The Hyperpop artist previously issued a blunt ultimatum on Instagram: “get that IDF band off of the lineup or i’m not playing.”
That warning targeted Temper City, an Israeli trio whose members reportedly served in the Israel Defence Forces (IDF).
M3F has not addressed the reason behind the change, whilst Flying Lotus now occupies Jane Remover’s former spot on the poster. Temper City remains on the bill, with their breakout single ‘Self Aware’ still topping charts and racking up hundreds of millions of streams.
Jane Remover is part of the LGBTQ+ community, having publicly shared their journey with their gender identity as non-binary and previously coming out as a trans woman.
