Rick Ross’ latest album ‘Set In Stone’ debuts at #39 on Billboard 200’s Top 40

Rick Ross’ long-awaited solo return, ‘Set In Stone’, has landed with a whimper rather than a bang. The nineteen-track project debuted at #46 on the Billboard 200, moving roughly 17,000 album-equivalent units in its first week—with nearly 15,000 of those coming from streaming.
The numbers mark a noticeably slow start for the Maybach Music Group boss, whose last solo effort, 2021’s ‘Richer Than I Ever Been’, debuted at #22. The new album also falls short of his 2024 collaborative project with Meek Mill, ‘Too Good To Be True’, which opened with more than 30,000 units.
Despite the star-studded guest list—including TI, Jeezy, Gucci Mane, Kodak Black, Don Toliver, and BigXThaPlug—the commercial reception has been muted. Ross has faced online criticism over the sales, including jabs from 50 Cent, but has largely brushed off the chatter.
