Kehlani lands at #4 on Billboard 200 with new album
The R&B star earns one of the year’s strongest female R&B openings with 69,000 first-week units.

Kehlani is back in the Billboard Top 5. The singer’s self-titled fifth studio album, ‘Kehlani’, has debuted at #4 on the Billboard 200, earning 69,000 equivalent album units in its first week. Of that total, 24,000 came from pure album sales, marking a major commercial moment for the Oakland-born R&B artist.
Released on April 24 through Atlantic Records, the project includes a stacked guest list featuring Brandy, Missy Elliott, Cardi B, Lil Wayne, Clipse, Usher, Big Sean, T-Pain, Lil Jon, and Leon Thomas.
The album also follows the success of ‘Folded’, which became Kehlani’s first solo Top 10 hit on the Billboard Hot 100 and won two GRAMMY Awards for Best R&B Song and Best R&B Performance.
With this debut, Kehlani continues to prove their staying power in Contemporary R&B.
