This week, British-Algerian artist Miraa May released the official visualiser on her new song ‘Miskeena’, which we discovered on a Spotify playlist aptly titled, ‘Women of Afro’. On the track, she croons about the days she felt comfortable with her partner (“I miss the days you held my gaze/When there was peace”) and rides across a bridge and chills on the streets of London in the Amira and Taisha visualiser. Most importantly, May knows her worth and has realised that self-love is the token. Check out the well-made record produced by Nigeria’s prolific star producer Tempoe below. It is the follow-up to ‘Bad Energy’, another Afro track she released on August 28, 2024.
