Now and then, our relationships fail. It isn’t always what we intend, but sometimes, couples outgrow one another. If not that, one of us crosses the line by being repetitively untruthful and inconsistent, committing irreconcilable infidelity, or simply and surprisingly finding our better match in someone else. In Kofi’s case, the Scarborough-dwelling artist discovered he’s better off alone as he craves peace more. It is out now through Red Bull Records. Check out the OP-produced track below by the Ghanaian-Canadian artist and superstar volleyball player, too.

On the meaning behind the song, Kofi shares, “’We Don’t Make Sense’ is about the moment you realize the relationship you’re in just won’t work; it’s time to leave the past behind and focus on yourself.”

According to the publicist, Kofi was elevated to Team Canada’s ‘A Team’, putting him one step closer to the Summer Olympic Games. Canada is currently ranked seventh in the world. Isn’t that exciting?
