Phoenix rapper Jaywop drops visual for ‘Bill Bellamy’: Watch
Phoenix, Arizona’s Jaywop has once again proved to be a consistent source of quality music. His latest track, titled after comedian Bill Bellamy, is an Asthon McCreight-produced banger. It’s an exciting, flex-y track that name drops Nick Cannon, Ludacris, the late-great Kobe Bryant and more.
Jaywop gets better with each effort, and this video matches the intensity of the single. The newly afro-ed artist shows off his tresses in various scenes and also gets it braided. He makes mention of the current quarantine, calling his need for fresh air ‘essential’–I felt that. The creative video gives the track a push.
Jaywop’s talent is evolving, and we look forward to seeing what emerges from him after this quarantine is over!

Watch Miles Morrison’s movie-inspired video for single ‘Off White’
Following his video for single ‘Bad for my Health’, off his debut EP ‘Hollywoodland’, Los Angeles-based artist Miles Morrison continues to create movie-like, metaphoric videos relating to his experience following his dream. The journey, which took him from Fenton, Michigan to star-studded Los Angeles, continues to be explored in this latest video. Morrison touches on the impact that drugs along with the new scene have had on his development as an artist.
The artistically crafted video, according to Morrison, is inspired by famous directors.
He states, I’ve always had a passion for film, I’ve always had a passion for directors like Stanley Kubrick and Quentin Tarantino, among others…Hollywood was my thing, even before music. So, I knew once I had an opportunity to get into music videos, I really wanted to implement all of that.

Quarantine Queen: Finchley singer Sinead Harnett shares visual for heartfelt song about fear and loss in isolation
Appearing in several looks as the days slip away, Sinead Harnett makes the best of it in her new video for ‘Quarantine Queen’. Its opening and its lyrics are candid, which expresses what most of our thoughts and feelings. Not knowing what’s next, or what the world will be when the lockdown lifts, it is natural to wonder. Yes, the world as we knew it is over, but it doesn’t mean we cannot continue to live. To the creators who will watch this and potentially become emotional, you aren’t alone. There’s a possibility that if you create a path for yourself during these times, you will be able to make it out of this sane and better off. Try not to give up when it’s so easy to right now. Feeling regret for not doing that thing you kept putting off is normal, and we cannot dwell on lost time, but our forward-thinking and movements should factor in what we can not get back in this lifetime. For that reasoning alone, we owe it to ourselves to be better than we were and triumph in the new world.
As someone who identifies as a “Quarantine Shorty”, it was only right that I lift this queen up. Watch the well-done quarantine visual for the London-native singer Sinead Harnett’s latest effort, ‘Quarantine Queen’.

Watch the suspenseful visual for North Carolina-based rapper Villy Vill’s ‘Counterfeit’
‘Counterfeit’ shows that Raleigh-based Villy Vill is a storyteller, both lyrically and visually. The three-minute rollercoaster he takes us on for this 2020 single makes for one of the more entertaining music videos to drop this year. Villy takes the concept of counterfeits and fakes and uses it to expose one of his homies-turned-hater in a staged robbery.
Some of these niggas look a hunnid, but they really counterfeit
Through double entendres over a heavy, menacing beat, Villy Vill compares fake money to fake friends. He spits “Don’t fear no nigga, I’m good” as his own homie waves a gun in his face, holding him hostage.
I’ma die behind my chicken, I ain’t beefin’ bout a bitch
Villy Vill keeps a cool head the entire time, as he raps about staying ten toes down despite fraudulent rappers and friends. The best part? When his real friends pay the hostage off in counterfeit bills. Watch the music video for ‘Counterfeit’ below. And, Villy Vill’s creativity and skills don’t stop here; throw ‘Villy Vibes’ on to see how far he’s about to go.

Watch buzzing North Carolina rapper Kiara’s visual for ‘Ape Shyt’ produced by IGOT20ONMYBEAT
Why these hoes playin’ with me?
Before Kiara says a word, the beat for ‘Ape Shyt’, which is reminiscent of DaBaby’s hard-hitting ‘XXL’, lets you know she’s about to do what needs to be done. She almost has no choice to, on a beat like this one. It’s a simple beat, stripped of any pomp and frills—the type of beat made for a rapper to show out. It has the heavy piano chords to set the tone and a simple drum kit to keep time, with a little woodwind added for flair about halfway through—AKA, there’s nothing for Kiara to hide behind.
Thankfully, she doesn’t need to; just those two minutes of straight bars with a short, catchy hook thrown in had me scrolling the rest of her YouTube. Kiara has a very “take no shit/give all hits” energy that directly reminded me of Megan thee Stallion during her come up. She does not mince words and gets right to it, rapping as if a major label executive told her she has thirty seconds to impress them.
I’m that bitch goin’ ape, tell ‘em get back
The first verse asserts her dominance, and the second verse serves as a call-out. Kiara’s not here for anything else except to rap her ass off, and she is easily on pace to continue putting Charlotte on the map right behind DaBaby.
I’m from the 4, I stay on go/Nice flow, 4x, fours up like I’m Stunna
Ape Shyt is only the tip of the iceberg; wait til ‘Ouchie Wally’ comes on. Don’t sleep.
