[/media-credit]Imagine receiving a phone call one day, discovering your relationship ended and thanking God it is over. Two weeks ago, Ghanaian Afropop singer-songwriter Wendy Shay released her official music video for ‘Who Cares?’ and in her case, she’s okay with what’s transpired because a few of the world’s wealthiest men (Femi Otedola, Aliko Dangote, Jeff Bezos, and Elon Musk) are on her waiting list. Last year in September, the ‘Ruthless’ singer was in a gruesome car accident where she incurred a head injury, according to Ghana Web. This year, in March, fellow Ghanaian artist Kuami Eugene was also in a car accident.

Hear South Korean DJ and record-producing star Peggy Gou’s Korean-language track ‘Lobster Telephone’
The song’s abstract title is inspired by a Dalí sculpture.
[media-credit name=”Instagram” width=1000 align=”center”]
[/media-credit]Peggy Gou, the captivating Berlin-based artist and selector, has unleashed another single from her highly-anticipated forthcoming debut album. Rolling out her bright and exciting dance-provoking body of work to her 4 million plus online fans, or followers, her longtime die-hard fans are looking forward to finally having their moment. The talent, who has been playing for over a decade and known for creating her monster hit ‘(It Goes Like) Nanana’, has a full fan in me.
You may have asked yourself, “What made her name the record that?” Well, it is a nod to the late Spanish art world extraordinaire, Salvador Dalí’s 1936 sculpture, which depicts the crustacean atop a rotary phone. Before you get out of here, listen to the new record below, even if you don’t speak or understand Korean. As the magazine cover star artist says in the translated lyrics, Gou repeats, “I know you don’t understand this/But it doesn’t matter/It’s all the same/We’re all the same”.
Gou’s forthcoming debut album ‘I Hear You’ is set to come out on June 7, 2024. It follows her latest track ‘1+1=11″, with its official music video direction handled by Olafur Eliasson. It’s hard to not love the production, as it sounds like its part of a video game soundtrack.

Watch Coi Leray embody the life of a strip tease performer for ‘Lemon Cars’
It’s a ticking time bomb.
Today, Coi Leray shared the official music video for ‘Lemon Cars’ with the world, giving her fans a peak into what’s to come from her forthcoming EP of the same name. For the title, which sounds different from previous releases, the two-time GRAMMY-nominated artist portrays herself as a strip tease who appears to be addicted to substances such as alcohol and whatever she’s smoking and splitting at the bar—as the lyrics suggest. As someone who seems to have it all (dwelling in an elaborate mansion and driving an expensive vehicle), we all know how the cookie crumbles. Check out the well-made video directed by The.97 below. Watch Ski Mask the Slump God journey through Nigo’s Japan mansion for ‘Headrush’
One of one.
[media-credit name=”Photo: Courtesy of the label” width=1000 align=”center”]
[/media-credit]As the gifted Floridian star serves up the follow-up to his outstanding mosh-pit-themed single ‘Shibuya’, Ski Mask the Slump God returns with his latest banger ‘Headrush’. For the music video, the rockstar roams around his labelmate and A Bathing Ape founder Nigö’s Japan mansion, showing off some of his prized possessions like expensive cars, lifesize action figures, and his rare art collection. Lyrically, the song is a celebratory number (“We up”) that suggests they “free [Young] Thug” (a superstar and highly influential rapper from Atlanta who has been held without bail at the Cobb County Jail for two years and counting) and confirms that people steal his style (“***** be stealing the sauce/I know it’s me they study”), and how he stands on business. Stream the track from his highly-anticipated sophomore album ’11th Dimension’ below. The Dill35MM direction is currently at #22 on YouTube’s Trending.
