Nigerian artist Zoro fiddles with gender norm roles in visual for ‘Church’: Watch

Last week, Nigerian artist Zoro released the official video for ‘Church’. As the title suggests, its video takes place in a place of worship. Wearing red hair and a matching pair of shades, he enters and appears to be a distraction or temptation to the congregation. Next, the change of gender role norms are evident; from the bearded person in the pews, to the pearly necklaces on his neck, and the headscarves on his dancers. Check out the Kemz-direction below.
