Not too long ago, The Shade Room shared a video of Young MA rapping to the well-known Gucci Mane and Migos song (‘I Get the Bag’). Aside from her noticeable weight loss, the Brooklyn rapper keeps it New York with mentions of her ‘constructs’ or fresh wheat Timberland boots. Personally, I like the way she started it off. By the end, it starts to change up. Nonetheless, the last words in the video are funny or offensive—depending on where you stand. It makes me want to hear more from her now. Young MA was born on April 3, 1992, in Brooklyn, New York. She is of Puerto Rican and Jamaican ancestry. She began rapping at the age of 9 and further developed her talents over the next nine years. At the time, she resided in Virginia. She has never stayed in one place for long. She moved to several cities in the South. At the age of 16, she moved back to Brooklyn.

Finally, in September 2009, when Young MA was 17, her older brother Kenneth was killed in gang-related violence in Pennsylvania; he was 20. She fell into a deep depression after his death.
