Before we get to where YONAKA is from and the rest of the nitty-gritty, let’s discuss the amount of energy that comes forth from ‘Bubblegum’. Creatively, the director seemingly places the lead singer in a bubble as a party of sorts for young adults goes on in a sweaty room. In my head, they are perfection in a live setting. Anyone saw them live yet that can attest to what I’m thinking? YONAKA has a forthcoming headlining show at The Garage in London on February 28, 2018. The Brighton band’s five-track extended play, ‘HEAVY’, is out now through Atlantic Records.
