Before emerging onto the shoe market scene, the casual yet edgy men’s footwear brand, Hillsboro, started with one question in mind, “If classically handsome dudes like James Dean, Steve McQueen, and Sean Connery were still out in the streets kicking ass and taking names, what would they lace up on their feet?” Just with that one question, and a passionate niche for designing quality men’s shoes, both founders, Sabrina and Chris Finlay has been kicking out affordable works of art, but for your feet.
Get your grills, fireworks, and best jeans ready for July 4th celebrations, because Hillsboro has created a limited edition shoe called Jeffrey. Although the shoes are bit of a novelty factor with its Americana theme, at the same time the shoes can be a combination of sleek and chic when paired with a complementary outfit. The Jeffrey shoe in particular is made of a canvas material with a rubber sole and comes with an extra pair of red shoe laces. On top of the rubber sole is a silver lining that gives the shoe somewhat of a sparkle effect. A unique factor about the shoe is its grassy interior with the brand’s name overlapping the grass pattern.
Although the shoes are made for men, I would wear them. The shoes are bold, and will definitely grab someone’s attention with its print. I am willing to give the shoes a yay, but what are your opinions?
