Will Smith, 56, announces final album: ‘Based on a True Story’

Last week, Will Smith shared his plans to release a new album. The album would have fourteen tracks and feature a variety of collaborations, including longtime friends and collaborators Jazzy Jeff, Teyana Taylor, and Jac Ross.
In a post on Instagram, he posted, “It’s OFFICIAL!! My new album Based On A True Story drops March 28. TWO WEEKS!! Hit that presave. Been working on this project for a minute and I’m itchin’ to get it out to y’all “

Before now, Will Smith released an album called, ‘Lost and Found’, in March 2005. The album coming out on March 28 is said to be the multiple award-winner’s last album. In January, the multi-talented artist and actor released the single, ‘Beautiful Scars’, featuring Big Sean and Obanga. Other released singles are ‘Work of Art’ with Jaden Smith and Russ, and ‘Tantrum’, featuring Joyner Lucas and ‘You Can Make It’.
