K-Way originated in 1965, on a rainy day in Paris by Leon-Claude Duhame, and is the leading manufacturer of lightweight waterproof jackets folded into a notably small and stylish pouch finished with the signature navy, orange and yellow ribbon belt and metal closure. Renowned for it’s practicality, this nylon jacket is a fashionable replacement, created to put your run-of-the-mill umbrella to shame. With its compact versatility, breathable cutting-edge fabrics, and fun color palette, it would make sense for K-Way to team up with Versus Versace!

Iconic K-Way has officially hit the U.S. with the launch of its first state-side store in the heart of Soho, New York City. The brand’s stand alone store opened its doors late September 2012, at 424 West Broadway (between Spring Street and Prince) with 1,300 square feet and a clean, simple aesthetic to resemble its flagship store in Torino, Italy. Three pronged stripes line the side wall mirroring the brand’s belts and signature navy, orange and yellow color code seen throughout the collection. Near the back, two clear chairs hang from the ceiling exuding a modern vibe in the retail space while symbolizing the limitless possibilities to come for the brand’s positive fate ahead in America. We suggest you go visit if you are in the neighborhood.
