Following the success of their 2019 single ‘London Love’, musical duo WESLEE tags Afrobeats artist Stonebwoy and producer P2J in for the remix. Initially recorded as a R&B/Neo-soul track, P2J provides an afrobeats reimagining of the song. The group’s vocalist Emma DD’s smooth voice and effortless delivery provides a pleasing sonic experience. Stonebwoy joins in with an energetic verse, amplifying the overall energy of the song. Their contrast in their approach on this song allowed for each artist to shine in their own right, while still blending perfectly with the other. This is great music, and it’s always exciting when music can be reimagined and still maintain its quality.
