Are you ready to tap your feet and clap your hands all night long? ‘Death Grip’ feels like an evening with the people you love. Watt White has experience, so it sounds like it. In his previous life, he was the leader of a Punk band called The SmashUp. During his time in that role, he toured alongside Megadeth, Deftones, and embarked on the Vans Warped Tour, which was a total of 30,000 miles. Their music video ‘No Name’ appeared on MTV and FUSE.

Since a hit record is determined by how it connects to others, I’ve always seen a median between comedians and the most successful songwriters. Whether you’ve taken the time to think about this or not, most songwriters have a great sense of humour. So when I read that Watt White recorded a comedy EP, I laughed. He made a song, now an internet hit, called ‘Take Off Your T-Shirt If You Can’t Name a Song by the Band That’s On It’. That track has accumulated over 200,000 streams between YouTube and Funny or Die.

Furthermore, his solo efforts are on television shows. Some shows in his portfolio include ESPN, NBC’s ‘The Biggest Loser’, MTV’s ‘Road Rules’, ‘Real World’, and last but not least, ‘Keeping Up With the Kardashians’. About a decade ago, his composition ‘Down and Derby’ was named the Official Party Anthem of the Kentucky Derby.

Finally, listen to the sizzling hot track by the New York City-based artist below. It is from his forthcoming extended play. We do not know the title of the project yet.
