“Dehydration” is a bone-chilling story of how a simple walk through the hood of Chicago can be a terrifying experience. To me, this video has substance and brings about the following questions: “How can things be changed for the better?” or, “What if it’s my last day to live, and I still haven’t lived to the fullest?” Mick Jenkins paints a vivid picture of the highs of a normal day of enjoying friends and family while depicting the most depressing outcomes of violence.
