Watch: Everything Everything’s “Distant Past”

Experimentation and ambition head back to popular music, with a heavy dose of wit and intelligence via Everything Everything’s upcoming album, “Get To Heaven”. New single “Distant Past” is as bold and infectious as it is thought-provoking. The single “is about primal human nature, and no matter how far we progress in our civilizations, we can never escape it,” explains Jonathan Higgs, the band’s lead singer and chief lyricist.

This highly-anticipated album was produced by the legendary British producer Stuart Price (Pet Shop Boys, Madonna, New Order) and is due for release this Summer in North America. The first single taken from “Get To Heaven” is “Distant Past”. The Mercury Music Prize and Ivor Novello nominees also announced they will be performing the new material live this April in London and Manchester, and plan to bring their live set to North America later this year. More details to come.
