Video Premiere: Big Brother Almighty’s “Kings and Queens”

“I say I love being black. My people call me lame. I pump my fist and look around, I guess they feel ashamed.” — a personal favourite line from Kings and Queens

Hailing from the same infamous neighborhood that the legendary rapper Nas is from comes Big Brother Almighty, often shortened as “BBA,” one of the today’s latest rappers who strives to enlighten his fans. Having released a full-length album on September 10 (“The American Experiment),” BBA is the voice for the underserved, unfortunate and hopeful people around the world.

Big Brother Almighty

Previously, his first single “Educated Ignorance” was released and today, he premieres the official video for “Kings and Queens.” In the video, the young emcee shows what it’s like to be from a community of people that love one another, regardless of their circumstance. Check out the video below and if you like what you hear, stream the album on Apple Music. “Chocolate Girl” and “Middle Man” are my personal favourites.
