If you knew Tommy Boy Records from the early eighties, you know that it is a label which launched the careers of unique artists who became legendary. Aside from the label’s public battle with De La Soul, it seems to stay on the current path of what’s selling in music today and involved in the business of new technology. Back in February, we covered ‘Callout’, a well-produced song that keeps the cadences and flows of today’s number one genre. Today, the seventeen-year-old Australian rising artist drops off ‘Approach’, the first single from his forthcoming EP ‘xx’ coming out November 8, 2019. Listen to his first release through Tommy Boy Records below.
