It comes from her mixtape ‘Vote 4 Trillary’, which has more than two million streams. Based on what I’ve read, this isn’t her usual flow. Usually, Trillary Banks makes Dancehall-influenced raps. ‘Get the Strap’ from her mixtape track is featured on the FIFA 20 soundtrack.

Rochester, New York-native rapper DAAJ recently released ‘Cinematic’, an uptempo that details her camaraderie with Southern bosses, an affinity for designer clothing, and how she keeps her worth. Kicking it off with a funny ass comedy skit, she comments on humans that get others messed up. On a beat that I haven’t heard her on before, here’s GLAM’s interpretation of an uptempo banger.

Keeping the vibe high with a gritty delivery and a gracious Soul sample as support, Queens-based rapper Tgifly lets us know he’s one to keep an eye on. As he pays homage to Stack Bundles and Chinx, the song offers a reason why the young Far Rockaway-native talents are gone too soon. Perhaps, people emulated you, but not understanding what it takes to be can you be the reason, or it can also be a wakeup call to local stars who make it national and international.
