The Prettiots Dated These Types of Boys in High School

Photo: Carlo Santolalla

The Prettiots, the badass girl group who uses the ukulele (and other instruments) like their songs depend on it because it does, dated just about every kind of city-slicking boy from a DJ that was only good at texting, a painter-slash-waiter-slash-stoner-slash-skater to a guy who didn’t want to date the no-nonsense lead singer Kay Kasparhauser because he was dating someone else who sucked his nether regions better than anyone else could, plus her grandfather died. Listen to the latest, tongue-in-cheek record by the charming pretty idiots, “Boys” above and if you’re in New York, see the it-girls play live at The Standard in the East Village on Monday, April 27. The show goes from 7-9 at night.
