M1llionz and Popcaan bring The FaNaTiX’s production to life: Watch ‘These Streets (Don’t Luv U)’

It might be the first time Popcaan features on a Drill beat with a Tanya Stephens sample.

They’re right. These streets don’t love you. The people in it want to misuse you and abuse you, much like the heart-cutting words to that classic Eurythmics 80s hit (‘Sweet Dreams’), so be careful. Most of us know it, but it doesn’t stop us from wanting to know what’s out there or the fast-and-sometimes-short life. Starting the track off, British rapper M1llionz takes his verse to tell the story about deception girlfriends. Then, the commanding Jamaican-bred superstar Popcaan enters the chat and dominates the record. Continuing on the topic of deception and trickery, he raps and sings about getting set up and being put on blast in public on Instagram. Watch the wonderfully shot music video for The FaNaTiX-produced track below. If you aren’t familiar with the multi-award winning production duo, they have production credits on songs written by Giggs, Vybz Kartel, Nicki Minaj, and more.
