Watch Haitian-Italian artist TECLA’s video for ‘Money’

If you don’t have your shizz together, this song might piss you off.

If you don’t have your shizz together, this TECLA song might piss you off.

Much like the person I am about to compare her to, TECLA is a first-generation New Yorker born in Hell’s Kitchen to Italian and Haitian immigrants. As a young girl, she was referred to as “a pianist prodigy”. She grew up and went on to be fluent in many different genres including Hip-Hop, Reggae, and Punk. Also, she’s been on tour with most of your fave alternative musicians like Chrisette Michele, Das Racist, Gordon Voidwell, Chairlift, and more. With a tone and backing that matches an early Kelis, TECLA checks women who seemingly are not capable of doing much without the help of a man.

Finally, watch the ‘Money’ video below.
