Superheart – Satellite (Submission)

Waking up to a voice sung by the Superheart singer would be great. Imagine that. Your eyes open. There’s a kettle making noise. Your significant other tries to get to it before it wakes up, but it’s too late. They don’t know you’re awake yet, but they know you’ll be up soon. They’ve returned to the bedside with brewing tea bags in matching mugs. One is for you. The other is for them; ‘Satellite’ plays in the background. As you’ve reached for the honey jar to sweeten your drink, they reach to you to do it for you. The song fades to your big smile. There’s something special about a person who can soothe the soul with the tone of their voice. Superheart has accomplished the following.

JDG – IOU featuring New Heaven (Submission)

Taking it up a notch, we come to the fantastic thumping track called, ‘IOU’ featuring New Heaven. The JDG single is an energetic party track with an infectious bass and treble, that makes you feel like you’re at the front of the stage—next to a stack of subwoofers. If you are an avid concertgoer, you know exactly what I mean. Hear it now.

Animal Hands – Wax and Vanity (Submission)

We have received tons of submissions from Australia lately. We think that’s awesome. It is approximately ten-thousand miles away. It’s not a small feat, so thank you! Furthermore, ‘Wax and Vanity’ is the kind of song that I would play when I am in the shower. Check it out, so you can match my vibe.

The Virtuals – All I Want To Do Is Dance (Submission)

The Virtuals, a Bay Area singer, pushes his debut single. It’s made to be the soundtrack for a good time. I am sitting, but all I can think about is dancing, so I am about to stand up. Right now; You better not try to stop me.

Flagship – Philadelphia Babe (Submission)

If this doesn’t sound like a daytime jam, I don’t know what does. Find me riding on the streets of South Lake Tahoe this Summer. I know the title says ‘Philadelphia’, but I’d rather be on the Northwest of North America—minding my business. Hear Flagship’s debut track. The Indie-Rock duo are talented.

Audrey – 80deg (Submission) (Bonus)

It is far from eighty degrees in New York City right now, but Audrey’s new song makes me wish it were different. The new Indonesian power vocalist sings about running away from mediocrity over an Anwar Sawyer—a producer at Roc Nation—beat. Check out the short Contemporary R&B song via this link. According to my research, the Jakarta-native artist is also a music producer and a disc jockey.

Foresteater – Pretend Land (Submission) (Bonus)

‘I don’t pretend to have a plan like an American/ I don’t pretend to give a damn like I’m a president’. Those are the truest words I’ve heard in a song this year. This is a great Indie Rock song, catchy and folksy in the best way possible with a Punk-tinged message. I could see this song being the soundtrack to a night of drinking induced by a job loss or major disappointment. It’s a necessary song for the times. (Nia Hampton)
