Paying home to the classic basketball publication Slam Magazine, Brooklyn-based emcee Suede Jury teams up with Jeary Sylves for the anthemic style production. Each verse differs as Suede meticulously stacks basketball references and Sylves makes photographic and high-art references in his. Listen to the three-minute track ‘Slam Magazine 2019’ below, out now through Say Something Worth Something. It is a “sample-free dark and energetic composition, with bounding pianos and growling electric guitars that deliver the NBA pre-game feel.”
