Watch Africa’s regality beam in Stonebwoy and Angélique Kidjo’s ‘Manodzi’

On September 28, Ghanaian superstar Stonebwoy released the official video for his latest collaboration ‘Manodzi’ featuring GRAMMY Award-winning Beninese-French musician Angélique Kidjo. Both African giants sing in African languages (seemingly Ewe from Ghana and possibly Chewa or Shona from Zambia). The ‘Into the Future‘ singer also adds English lyrics to the track detailing a winner’s mindset and lifestyle, with an agenda to rise to the top. It’s the perfect kind of record and video to make you tap into your regal roots and appreciate African culture, fashion, and dance. Check out the music video durected by Yaw Skyface for ‘Manodzi’ taken from Stonebwoy’s album ‘5th Dimension’. It has over one million views on YouTube.

About a month ago, Stonebwoy performed the song for an episode of Global Spin, produced by The Recording Academy.
