The culture-defining media group and technology-shaping powerhouse bring to life their unprecedented artistic experiment via an original video series, interactive galleries and editorial features breaking down the people and processes behind each talent collaboration. Pairings include groundbreaking guitarist and Post-Rock icon Ian Williams of Battles with sublime conceptual artist Ron Amstutz; experimental Pop visionary How To Dress Well with deeply personal and purposeful multi-media artist Melissa Matos (TRUSST); and mid-fi synth-wave, slow-motion Funk architect Com Truise with live performance digital videographer Deborah Johnson aka CandyStations. The program will culminate in a marquee audio / visual event December 17 at Verboten in Williamsburg where each of the artists will perform a live set that reflects the fruits of their collaborative process. The event and video content generated will be fully supported by SpinMedia editorial across its many music sites.
