Watch Jamaica’s Dancehall superstar Spice’s official video for ‘Inches’

The Jamaican queen appears in a wig shop, in a bedroom with friends, and on a balcony like Rapunzel.

Approaching the million view mark on YouTube, ‘Inches’ by Spice is an ode to the hair industry in full. As a woman who also wears protective hairstyles as a way to promote healthy hair and self-care, it is lovely to see her embrace all spectrums of her beauty. To me, the funniest part of the video is when the woman dances and throws her wigs off. Check out the illustrative visual now below from the ‘Reggae Gold 2020’ compilation album. Then, be sure to check out Spice’s co-curated playlist with Kevito Clark on Essence’s website right now.
