Kirk Knight, also known as “The Kreeper,” is a rapper from Brooklyn, who takes his inspiration from artists like Kanye West, The Notorious B.I.G, and is a member of the Hip-Hop collective Pro Era. Kirk Knight is also a respected sound producer who has created music with Joey Bada$$ in the Pro Era. Late Knight Special made it’s debut on October 30, 2015. The fact that he incorporates old school rap sounds and then transitions to smoother tracks is fantastic. My personal favorites on the album so far are “Heaven Is For Real,” “Scorpio,” and of course “Knight Time.” But it’s hard to choose, every song is a jam.
Kirk makes a lot of puns with his last name in his track names, album titles, and lyrics. Which is not only amusing but is a smart way to keep getting his name out there. His video for “Knight Time” is in all black and white with splashes of red throughout the video, all coming together to create the perfect nightlife beat.
