‘Chocolate Love’ is the perfect song to woo a lover. And truthfully, I can appreciate any song that focuses on women of colour as well. The Kansas City-based R&B/Soul duo, Soul Revival, consists of producer Desmond “D Professor” Mason and singer-songwriter Derick Pierre. Together, they create music that pays homage to the 90s, with a modern flair to it; kind of like a cross between D’Angelo and Musiq Soulchild. Featuring smooth vocals from Church Boii, the track has a groove that any age group could appreciate.
